Joe Jam Sumrell is a long-standing fixture in the Boston music landscape with a
reputation of being an official groove-ologist on electric bass. Over the last three
decades "Joe Jam" has produced an impressive resume that features an array of
live concert performances with major artists, TV appearances, recordings, and
music licensing projects. As an independent artist Joe has consistently displayed
an ever-evolving versatility as a musician, writer and producer connecting genres
that encompass Jazz, Funk, Afro-Soul, R-n-B, Rock, Reggae, Gospel, Neo-Soul and
Fusion.
